World Cup Stadiums in South Africa - Green Point Stadium in Cape Town

Green Point Stadium is located in Cape Town. Of the ten World Cup stadiums in South Africa this is at the southernmost location. It is one of the two venues for the semi-finals. The image shows the picturesque location.

It has 64,000 spectator capacity and has noise reducing exterior cladding -- this is because the stadium will be used also to stage major events like concerts. Cape Town has another world class stadium, Newlands, which is used primarily as a rugby venue.

  1. Loved this detailed overview of the stadiums that hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa—it truly captures the scale and spirit of the event.
I recently completed my home renovation project and chose The Stone Evolution for premium wall solutions. I must say, their product quality and service truly exceeded my expectations. The texture, finish, and durability of their materials are outstanding. In the middle of exploring different options I finalized Natural Stone Wall Cladding from them and it completely transformed the look of my living space with a rich and elegant appeal. The team was supportive, professional, and delivered on time. If you are looking for reliable products with excellent craftsmanship, I highly recommend The Stone Evolution for your next project.
